Pann Pyoe Lett Foundation (PPLF), in collaboration with Capacity Building Initiative (CBI), successfully conducted a 3-day First Aid Training at Parkroyal Hotel, Yangon.
A total of 30 participants from 18 community-based organizations (CBOs) and NGOs attended the training, with the objective of strengthening their capacity in emergency response and lifesaving first aid skills.
The training covered key modules including:
-
Principles of First Aid and casualty assessment
-
CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), and choking management
-
Bleeding control, burns, fractures, and injury management
-
Child First Aid and Psychological First Aid
-
First Aid for animal bites and stings
The sessions were delivered through a combination of interactive discussions, practical demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, allowing participants to build confidence in responding to real-life emergency situations.
To support the practical application of the skills learned, First Aid Kits were distributed to all participants. These kits will enable participants to provide immediate assistance and serve as first responders within their respective communities and organizations.
This initiative contributes to enhancing community resilience and preparedness, particularly in supporting vulnerable groups, including children and women.
PPLF extends its sincere appreciation to all participants and partner organizations for their active engagement and commitment to improving community safety and emergency response capacity.
